Cultural hike in Val Lumnezia

The hike begins in Vella with an introduction to the history of the valley and the former ruling family of Mont. In the valley church of Pleif, you can view the impressive painting of the Battle of Lepanto. The trail then leads to Degen, where you will visit the chapels of Sogn Bistgaun and Sogn Vetger and the church of Nossadunna, which is associated with the pre-Christian legend of Sontga Margriata. The hike ends with a visit to the architecturally remarkable chapel of Sontgaclau e Sogn Valentin in Vattiz.
