Architecture and identity

Vrin, the rearmost village in Lumnezia, is known as the gateway to the Greina and as the home of architect Gion A. Caminada. In 1998, the people of Vrin were awarded the Wakker Prize for their careful handling of the inherited building fabric. In addition to the Italian-style campanile of the church, numerous modern wooden houses and stables built by Gion A. Caminada give the village its identity.
